This is a delicate ring built on proportion. The head sits slightly above the band, and the pavé starts with a small step at each side, so the cushion reads as the clear centre. From there, 20 round moissanite stones run down each shoulder in four graduated sizes, from 1.4mm near the head to 0.8mm, then give way to a plain polished back. The result catches light from the side as well as the top, without the weight of a full eternity band. All stones are moissanite in D colour with VVS clarity. A refractive index of 2.65, against a diamond's 2.42, gives even a small cushion strong sparkle, and 9.25 Mohs hardness suits a ring that is never taken off.
