Pear & Round Moissanite Cluster Ring – 1.9ct DEW
$69.00 USD
Four pear-cut moissanite and five small rounds are scattered across the top of this ring like a spray of petals and buds. The nine stones total about 1.9ct DEW, set in 925 sterling silver with 18K white gold plating. The pears point in different directions — two at 6 × 4mm and two at 5 × 3mm — each held in claw prongs, with 2.0mm and 2.5mm rounds filling the spaces between them. The cluster runs 12.7mm along the finger and sits on a slim 1.63mm polished band, so the stones get all the attention. Nothing is symmetrical by design: the layout looks like a small branch in bloom rather than a formal halo. Every stone is moissanite, D colour and VVS clarity. Pear cuts are brilliant-faceted, and moissanite's refractive index of 2.65 (a diamond's is 2.42) pushes extra fire through their pointed tips. At 9.25 on the Mohs scale, it is hard enough for daily wear. The silver weight is 1.8g. Styling note: an asymmetric cluster looks best worn on its own or beside one very thin band; let it be the focus. It is a natural alternative engagement or anniversary ring for someone who finds a single solitaire too formal. Because the prongs stand proud, take it off for the gym and heavy work.
